انتخاب غزل : کاظم خان شېدا
انګلیسي ترجمه :ډاکټر نسيم اڅکزئ
وَ بورجل ته مې دلدار راځي په ورو ورو
کۀ چمن ته نوبهار راځي په ورو ورو
My beloved is coming towards my dwelling, slowly.
It seems as the spring is pacing down cautiously towards the garden.
وار په وار. يې التفات د سترګو وينم
تۀ به وائې چې بيمار راخي په ورو ورو
I’m achieving the attention of her eyes.
It seems as though an ill one steps down, so slowly.
تر بلا د بلا بيم کشنده تر دے
و خونړېز ته مې خونخوار راځي په ورو ورو
The fear of the destruction is more terrible than the actual event.
The killer is slowly coming near to kill me.
جدائۍ مګر فرهاد پرېويست له برمه
چې فرياد يې د کوهسار راځي په ورو ورو
The separation has destroyed the lover:
especially when the echo of his complaint returns from huge mountains.
شيدا مۀ کوه کلام بې تامله
هر طوطي په ښۀ ګفتار راځي په ورو ورو
Shaida needn’t speak, hurriedly.
The parrot can learn its talk, so slowly.
