PSF leaders flay attack on ANP leader
[24.Sep.2007 - 14:49] PEKHAWAR 22.09.2007: Provincial central leader of Pakhtun Students Federation (PSF) Asadullah Mayar has strongly condemned the attack on ANP veteran leader and federal minister Afzal Khan Lala and demanded of the high-ups to arrest the involved persons as soon as possible. In a statement issued here on Saturday, Asad Mayar said that the list of sacrifices of the nationalist leader Afzal Khan Lala was so long and he was who rendered a numerous forfeits for the unity of not only Pakhtuns but also for whole nation. The nationalist student leader further said that such attacks may discourage the others; parties leaders and activists but ANP was the only party that could never be disheartened by such attacks because the leaders' spirits for the unity of Pakhtuns would never be downed. Asad Mayar said that Afzal Khan Lala was the leader whose uncountable sacrifices for the Pakhtuns nation would never be denied. He while comforting the activists of the party not to be discouraged of the attack on their leaders as the leaders were always meant for sacrifices and they would never be backed from their mission and manifesto. He urged upon the students community to work hard and let be teamed-up and give strong support to nationalist leaders like Afzal Khan Lala. Asad Mayar called for the provincial and central governments to take serious notice of the matter and arrest the culprits and send them behind the bar and give them exemplary punishment. He while paying rich tributes to Khan Lala's meritorious services for the party and Pakhtun nation at large and also prayed for the departed souls of his gunman and drivers killed during life attempt on him the other day. The other PSF leaders Waqar Ahmad Yousafzai, Tariq Afghan also strongly slammed the life attempt on Khan Lala.- دپښتونخوا خبریال
