Step of UNHCR and Pakistan lauded to allow Afghan till 2012

Chairman Pashtun Democratic Council Zar ali khan musazai has appreciated the role of UNHCR and Pakistan to sign a letter of mutual intent regarding the situation of the registered Afghan in Pakistan.Their stay till year 2012 is also not enough. They should be allowed to live on their own as Pashtun do not think that Afghan are strangers. Afghans are our own Pashtun brothers and sisters and we love to see them here .Both Afghan and Pakistan governments should sit together to remove the conditions of veza and passport for the Pashtun/Afghan living both sides of the durand line. He said that Afghanistan witnessed a long war and its people suffered heavily. Afghans have fought a war of the entire world in Afghanistan including US, Europe, Arabs, China and Pakistan but very sorry to say that Afghan were not treated better in the world. UN should have to announce a package for all Afghans to stay anywhere they like and get themselves admitted in any institution of the world they want but the things rather went wrong direction and today Afghan children are not allowed to get admissions in either private or public education institutions in Pakistan. Afghanistan needs educated people for its development but when the Afghan children are not allowed to get education how Afghanistan will make progress which is a question. Now this is the responsibility of whole world to open the doors of educational instituions for the children of Afghans and creating problems for them means taking Afghanistan to the era of darkness and backwardness. We demand of the government of Pakistan to allow Afghan to stay here and permit the Afghan students to get themselves admitted in educational institutions. UNHCR should also take this issue with the government of Pakistan to allow Afghan Children to continue their study in Pakistan without any hindrance and problem.
